Professor Humanitarian Aid and Reconstruction

    Thea Hilhorst is a rural development sociologist focusing on emergencies and emergency-related interventions in the developing world. Research interests include the realities of conflict and disasters and the policies and practices of actors and agencies involved in relief and rehabilitation interventions.
